Melina is an incredibly well-known American actress. Her most well-known role is for playing the role of Dr. Sydney Hansen, a doctor on the NBC show Providence as well as the character Dr. Lane Hunter from the medical drama The Resident. The actress received critical acclaim for her role in her portrayal of Eleni Anderson Cooper. This was her debut television appearance in CBS soap show Guiding Light.
