Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962, is an American Actress. Following her film debut during the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack actors and starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). For her performance on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Leading Actress. Ally Sheedy, an American writer and actor. In the early 80s, she began her career as a film actress with the thriller film Bad Boys. She was very well-received in this film. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie, which also featured prominent actor Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. After her debut film was released in 1985, she starred in the comedy-drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes' film is considered to be one of the greatest high school films of all-time. While the budget for the film was only $1 million, its profits exceeded $50 million. In the meantime, she began to appear in different TV shows like CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first TV appearance. It was a program for teenagers that started airing from April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues are other programs on TV where she was featured. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film about a super hero in which Sheedy plays the role of a tiny cameo. Sheedy has been awarded numerous times for her outstanding performances, including her MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
